If there is one area that my new found freedom from movie making has allowed me, it is in the realm of Animation. As an illustrator and as an artist, I have had some modicum of success over the years but I stayed away from animation as a creator. I had commissioned some work as a Producer - but I was unable or unwilling to do the heavy lifting required to work as a full-fledged animator.
And then I had no choice. My wife's Mother was passing on and I was determined to show her and the family how much I cared for this woman and the fact she had been with her husband for over sixty years in marriage.
"The Doctor's Wife" was born. Based on the wonderful musical work of "The Clockwork Quartet", I was able to finally put pixels to work and created my first animated film sitting at my kitchen table.
